Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
VyceENT (“we”, “us”) promotes events on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. We follow British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), Canada’s PIPEDA where it applies, and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
What we collect
Only what you send us through our forms:
- Newsletter: your email address and your consent to receive messages.
- VIP table requests: name, phone, email, event, party size, package and any notes you add.
- Venue partnership inquiries: venue, city, your name, role, email, capacity and your message.
We also receive standard technical data when you visit (IP address, browser type) in server logs, used for security and to prevent form abuse.
How we use it
- To respond to your VIP request or partnership inquiry.
- To send our newsletter (event announcements, entry discounts and other offers) to people who subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by contacting us.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information.
Tickets and payments
Tickets are currently sold by third-party ticketing platforms such as AdmitOne. When you buy a ticket you share your details and payment information with that platform under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your card details.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising cookies. At the moment the site sets no analytics or tracking cookies. If we add analytics, we will ask for your consent first.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the site and send messages (hosting, email and text-message delivery, ticketing). They may only use your information to provide those services. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be accessed under local laws.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed for the purposes above. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Inquiries and VIP requests are kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, withdraw your consent or have it deleted, subject to legal limits. Email us at contact@vyceent.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Age
Our events have age limits (for example 18+ or 19+) and our forms are not directed at children. Do not send us information about anyone under 16.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
